I've shot lots of 18-year-olds for portraits, often outdoors. It seems that the way Senior Portraits have gone in recent years. I like it that way. In the old days, lining people up and shoot them in a studio with the same staid background is just boring.
Nowadays, we take the Senior's personality into consideration and put them in a proper physical context. We shoot athletes on their playing fields, dancers and performers on the stage or around it. We really do a much better job making sure these once-in-a-lifetime Senior Portraits best represent who you are.
I'm really excited about shooting more of these Senior Portraits. The 2-hour shoot is $195 for the shooting/creative fee, plus whatever you order for prints or JPGs. I am currently looking for two students per high school to be Ron McKinney Photography Senior Portrait ambassadors, in which the shooting/creative fee is waived. Plus, you get some free business card pictures to share with your friends (which will have my information on the back of it!).
